This plant is suitable for a high-tech planted aquarium with a soil-based nutrient substrate, CO2, and high light. It grows best with plenty of CO2 and natural sunlight, therefore, it is often sold in emerged form. When they grow submerged, the leaf becomes delicate and it develops pink and white leaf.
