Buce Moss
This rare moss with tiny, highly detailed foliage, makes a thick matt and dense coverage over rocks and wood alike. It is also individual for the light tips on its foliage that give areas of it an almost stary look. Originating from Borneo this slow-growing moss does well under medium light, with CO2.

How to care for your moss:
- Moss prefers a cooler tank between 21-24 degrees is optimal.
- Moss is relatively delicate and doesn't have roots or a thick cell wall like some plants and so they are best kept with fish that won't try to bite or remove them.
- Moss requires clean filtered water and a stable tank environment to thrive.
- Moss is not demanding for light, needing as little as 10 umols of PAR.
- Mosse do best when attached to hardscape like rock (such as Dragon Stone) or wood (like Gold Vine).
- It is recommended to regularly trim your mosses so that they don't grow too thick and unruly. These cutting are also very easy to propagate into new sections of moss.
- CO2 can be useful to assist in the growth of mosses and prevention of algae but isn't necessary.
- Moss doesn't require intense levels of fertiliser but small amounts can be beneficial.
- Moss can be easily attached to hardscape using aquarium safe super glue (like Seachem Flourish Glue) or cotton thread.
- Moss generally prefers soft to neutral water parameters.
