Staurogyne repens is a compact and hardy plant best suited in the foreground. It has relatively large leaves with a bushy demeanour. This plant naturally grows low and can develop a strong root system. Selectively cutting the tallest stems will maintain a carpet like, creeping growth. Regular trimming will force new side shoots and the plant group will be denser as a result.
